The purpose of our Genesee Master Gardener Association is to bring together active Master Gardener volunteers to serve as an educational resource to MSU Extension - Genesee County in their common goal of providing horticultural education to the citizens in the community. Everyone who completes the Genesee Master Gardener Volunteer Training Program (or transfers in) belongs to this association. A new website has been created for our association and it features our main volunteer projects, links to gardening information and more!
The Genesee Master Gardener Association website’s mission is described below:
“The Master Gardeners of Genesee County are a volunteer group dedicated to learning about gardening and horticulture and sharing our acquired knowledge wth the people of Genesee County. We dedicate this website to the purpose of encouraging horticulture and gardening which through adding beauty improves the quality of the community’s environment.”
