AFRE Students on Spring Break

AFRE students spent their Spring Break 2018 enjoying and bettering themselves across the continent.

A much needed rest from classes, AFRE undergraduates and graduate students are enjoying their Spring Break 2018 from all over the continent — from California to Canada, and right here at Agriculture Hall.

Agribusiness Management student Julia Chamberlain is at the Global Markets Outlook conference in Las Vegas, hosted by her future employer INTL FCStone.

AFRE students Katie Forro and Megan Hughes attended the Agriculture Future of America (AFA) Technology Institute in California, and then met up with Julia Chamberlain in Las Vegas.

Lindsay Kozikowski, Agribusiness Management junior, is competing in Cincinnati Ohio at the National Field Archery Association Indoor Nationals.

Graduate students Angelos Lagoudakis and Danielle Kaminski stayed on campus to conduct a study with Dr. Vincenzina Caputo on differing welfare estimates for the local community.

AFRE senior Cara Goch went up to the Upper Peninsula with her family to ski Mt. Bohemia in the Keweenaw Peninsula.

And Food Industry Management senior Izzy Morton took a road trip to Montreal, with a quick pit stop to see Niagara Falls.
