Scientific Exchanges

WorldTAP develops and conducts scientific exchange programs at Michigan State University from global public and private institutions.

USDA-FAS Scientific Exchange Programs

In collaboration with USDA-FAS, Michigan State University organizes and hosts Scientific Exchange Programs each year. Under this program, several research scientists, policy makers and senior administrators and other stakeholders from developing countries visit MSU campus for one to two weeks and interact with research scientists at MSU and other relevant stakeholders in Michigan. The goal of the scientific exchange programs is to share research experiences that are relevant to addressing problems in agricultural sectors in participants’ home countries. The exchange visits also provide opportunities for developing joint collaborative research and outreach programs that are mutually beneficial.
