  •  Find information about careers with the free O*Net database, a continuously updated national resource for occupational information. Search by occupation, skills and interests, or job title or code at https://www.onetonline.org.

Grow Your Skills

  • Sign up at Khan Academy, https://www.khanacademy.org/, a non-profit organization offering free personalized learning for all ages anywhere and anytime to help grow your skills Courses are offered in math, science, computers, English and many more.

  • If you’re a Michigan resident and interested in learning and on the job training, https://miapprenticeship.org/ may be a good place to look. This website offers apprenticeship opportunities.

  • Information available on apprenticeship occupations, statistics, National Apprenticeship Week with many helpful links can be found at https://www.dol.gov/apprenticeship/, a website managed by the U.S. Department of Labor. 
  • A national network of colleges and Registered Apprenticeship sponsors allowing apprenticeship graduates to attend and complete their postsecondary degrees at member colleges can be found at https://doleta.gov/oa/racc.cfm.
