Introducation to Philanthropy Youth

Get to know your students and what they care about with this group envisioning activity. The students understand themselves and their community and imagine a better world. Then discuss first steps they can take. (PreK through 12 grade)

Blue Sky activity

Through discussion and response using the book Uncle Willie and the Soup Kitchen by DyAnne DiSalvo-Ryan, students define philanthropy as the sharing of time, talent, and treasure for the common good.  Students reflect on the benefit of philanthropy to the giver and receiver. (Grades 3-5)
