Mission Statement: Epsilon Sigma Phi (ESP) is dedicated to fostering standards of excellence in the Extension System and developing the Extension profession and professional.
Vision Statement: Epsilon Sigma Phi leads the Extension System in promoting and supporting professionalism in Extension.
Goals
- ESP enthusiastically supports the viability of the Extension system as it faces the future
- ESP supports a variety of collaborative program initiatives with Extension and related organizations.
- ESP provides resources and programs which will support and enhance professional competence
- ESP focuses on strengthening chapters and membership
- ESP develops and provide benefits and resources for its members
- ESP establishes opportunities to support professionalism in Extension
Active ESP members are duly elected and initiated members of the organization who are currently employed as Extension staff or designated Extension appointment by Michigan State University (or Extension appointment in another state if a transfer member).

The National ESP membership year is from January 1 to December 31 each year. Current members will receive an invoice through email on October 1st for the upcoming year. Members can login to their account and review their membership status at anytime. The new member application and the Life Member information can be found by clicking on one of the links below.
