The 2025 International All Things BLV Conference brings together researchers, extension specialists, producers, veterinarians, industry representatives, and students to address the evolving challenges of Bovine Leukemia Virus (BLV). This conference will serve as a welcoming and collaborative platform to share research findings and producer testimonials, while fostering career development, mentorship, and training for early-career professionals and students.

The event will feature presentations from leading researchers around the world on all things BLV. Additionally, there will be firsthand accounts of successes and challenges in BLV management from engaged producers and veterinarians. By facilitating discussion and sharing information, the conference provides a crucial opportunity for global collaboration to drive progress in BLV research and practice.

Wednesday, July 16, 2025Research Flash Talks - Virtual Connection Only 
Join us for quick, focused presentations showcasing updates and future directions from the BLV research community. Presenters will share completed, ongoing, and upcoming projects, with opportunities for discussion. This is a great opportunity for students and researchers to share their work with the broader community. 

Thursday, July 17, 2025Producer-Focused Discussion - Virtual and In-person 
Producers and veterinarians are invited to join a producer-focused discussion to engage with researchers, share insights, ask questions, and discuss key topics relevant to BLV. Any producer or veterinarian with experience of BLV in cattle herd(s) are encouraged to participate.
Physical Location: MSU Federal Credit Union - 4825 Mt Hope Rd, East Lansing, MI 48823 
Lunch provided for in-person attendees. 

Friday, July 18, 2025Fostering Research Collaboration(s)
A dedicated space for academics in research to connect, share expertise, and explore collaborations to shape the future of BLV research. Virtual breakout rooms will be organized by topic, each led by a facilitator to guide the discussion on potential collaborations and grant proposal opportunity(ies). The virtual session is open to academic researchers only. 

Together, we can drive the next generation of BLV research and management, ensuring effective solutions for the global community.
