Are you interested in connecting with others in the world of community science and conservation? Join the Michigan Vernal Pools Partnership and Michigan State University Extension on Sunday, September 21 from 1 – 3 PM for a Conservation Pool Party at Fenner Nature Center! Alumni from the MSU Extension Conservation Stewards Program, current Michigan Vernal Pool Patrol volunteers, as well as anyone looking to learn more about getting involved locally in conservation are welcome to join the party!
The Conservation Pool Party will include light refreshments, social time, a quick stewardship opportunity at a vernal pool (because going into the forest is always better with friends), and booths from various conservation organizations. This free open house style event is a way to meet and connect with others passionate about conservation. Attendance is free, registration is appreciated.
