What: Farming While Black Film Screening and Farmer Panel
Come join us for a film screening of the documentary Farming While Black followed by a Blackfarmer panel discussion facilitated by Dr. Eunice Foster, Professor Emeritus & Crop Physiologist, MSU. Farmer panel featuring:
Shara Trierweiler, Agape Organic Farms, Dansville, MI
Bruce-Michael Wilson, Groundwell Farms, Zeeland, MI
Barbara Norman, Barbara's Blueberry Patch, Covert, MI
Come build community and learn about the challenges and triumphs of Black farmers in the agriculture industry at large, and in organic farming specifically. This in-person event is a great opportunity to connect with the farming community and support Black farmers.
The event will be held in Classroom 235 at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center.
