Do you serve in local government and frequently deal with complex challenges? Could you benefit from fresh perspectives of other public servants making a difference in their communities? The Great Lakes Leadership Academy (GLLA) and MSU Extension are partnering to offer a 1-day leadership intensive for local government staff and elected or appointed officials.
The Great Lakes Leadership Academy believes in leading from any chair. Whether you’re an elected or appointed official, department head, or staff, you have leadership potential to nurture.
In this unique accelerated learning opportunity, you will explore your unique leadership path and discover what it means to be a value-guided leader. You will identify a relevant leadership challenge and set a strategic goal for your future with the help of our trained professional coaching staff. Through this highly interactive workshop, participants work their way through their leadership challenge in a way that is aligned with personal and shared values using a group-coaching model of applied learning.
Participants will receive a certificate of completion and access to additional resources after the program.
