The Shiawassee Conservation District is seeking interested applicants to serve as a Conservation Specialist for the Shiawassee Conservation District. The applicant must possess a bachelor’s degree in forestry or a natural resources related discipline. The position will provide technical assistance through conservation planning and implementation of conservation practices that directly address forest and wildlife habitat management. Other assignments will include providing public outreach opportunities and other duties deemed relevant to the mission of the Shiawassee Conservation District. The position will be housed at the Shiawassee Conservation District located at the USDA Service Center in Owosso, Michigan.
