This 8-minute video explains Malawi's on-going fertilizer policy reform that includes soil testing and Extension support.

Malawi's Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development (MoAIWD) has endorsed the National Fertilizer Policy (NFP) draft at an internal validation meeting held on July 17, 2018. This new policy encourages soil testing and Extension support to improve the use and performance of fertilizers. FSP Napas: Malawi has been responsible for the drafting of the National Fertilizer Policy since 2015.
