The Forest Carbon and Climate Program in the Department of Forestry at MSU is a proud sponsor of Forests Ontario.

The Forest Carbon and Climate Program (FCCP) in the Department of Forestry at Michigan State University is a proud sponsor of Forests Ontario. The conference will be held on February 9th, 2018 in Alliston, Ontario.

Lauren Cooper, FCCP Program Director, will lead a concurrent session, “Adding Value to Forests: Linking Carbon and Climate to Forest Decision-makers”.  Visit http://canr.msu.edu/fccp to learn about additional engagement efforts, ongoing projects and partner organizations.

Each year, the Forests Ontario Annual Conferences connects over 300 landowners, forestry professionals, students, educators, and those passionate about forests to explore key issues surrounding forestry. This year’s conference, titled “The Ripple Effect”, will center on the direct link forests share with implementation of both adaptation and mitigation strategies at the local regional, national, and global scale.
