Graduate Degree Information
The School of Packaging offers the following graduate degree options:
Announcement: Michigan State University is in the process of transitioning from GAMS to Slate as a new graduate admissions system to enhance recruitment and admissions processes at MSU. Please note the following:
- No new applications can be completed during the time period of July 19 to August 1, 2021.
- All previous incomplete applications should be completed by July 12. Applications that are deemed incomplete will not be a migrated to Slate, therefore students will be required to re-initiate their application in Slate on August 2.
Application deadline for on campus programs:
For full consideration, the application for admission, the application fee, and all required documents should be received no later than January 15th for the Master's program and October 15th for the PhD program - for admission to the following fall semester. International students are encouraged to apply as early as possible or at least by the deadline. International applications submitted after the deadline should include all requirements, including official transcripts.
Application deadline for the Ms Online program:
For full consideration, the application for admission, application fee, official transcripts, letters of recommendation, test scores, and other required documents must be received by the school at least two (2) months prior to the anticipated first semester of enrollment (U.S. citizens) and three (3) months prior for international students.
