Audrey Etzin-Gagner (she/her/hers) is a communications manager at Michigan State University Extension, a role she has held since joining the organization in June 2021. In this role, Audrey provides statewide strategic leadership and support for the communications and marketing efforts of MSU Extension’s more than 80 educators and staff with the Community, Food and Environment Institute.

Audrey graduated with a bachelor of arts in comparative cultures and politics from James Madison College at Michigan State University, with a minor in agribusiness management. Before joining MSU Extension, she served as a communications advisor writing on behalf of more than ten state representatives in the Michigan Legislature, in addition to managing the communications of the bicameral Progressive Women’s Caucus and the Detroit Caucus. Prior to this, she learned the industry first-hand through serving as account coordinator and assistant copywriter for an East Lansing-based marketing and design firm.
