Emily Hoover is a  is a Michigan State University Extension 4-H Program Coordinator in Jackson County.  Her role at MSU Extension is to support the traditional 4-H program, facilitating volunteer recruitment, training, support and management of 4-H clubs, councils and committees.

Before coming to MSU Extension, Emily worked at two different youth camps, eventually directing the Equestrian program for over seven years.  She has always had a passion for working with youth and that has only been enhanced working with youth in the 4-H program. Emily has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor’s of Social Work degree from Spring Arbor University and is currently working on a Master’s in Social Work from Michigan State University.

Emily enjoys traveling to new places, hiking, taking her dog for long walks and spending time with her niece and nephews.
