Academic Background

I studied Biosystems Engineering at Michigan State University (2017-2021). During my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to be exposed to food safety engineering since freshman year. Areas that I worked on include isothermal inactivation of pathogens in low moisture products and predictive microbiology, which enhanced my passion for biosystems engineering. In addition to continuing working on microbial food safety engineering for my graduate program, I am also interested in exploring molecular food safety engineering.
