Mark Williams Current Project: “Do phylogeny and meta-omic variation in nodule bacteriomes determine plant traits related to legume productivity? (USDA)”, which seeks to better understand microbial variation across soybean niches and especially nodules where Bradyrhizobium and other nodule invaders impact soybean growth and nitrogen fixation.
