Zephania Nyirenda is a Policy and Research Analyst for NAPAS: Malawi. His work focusses on enhancing the role that research plays in policy through undertaking policy research. He has worked on a number of policy studies related to policy processes in agriculture and food security, fertilizer policy, extension policy, famer organization, and private sector investments in agriculture. Before joining NAPAS: Malawi, he was working as a research collaborator for IFPRI Malawi office and was involved in developing data collection tools using CSPro and ODK, training research assistants and leading teams for field data collection. He holds a Masters degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Malawi.
