March 27, 2015

This document discusses children’s physical, cognitive (thinking), social and emotional development during the 5- to 8-year-old stage, along with the implications these characteristics have for working with children. Individual differences play a big role in how children behave and what they like to do. The information can be useful for teen and adult 4-H volunteers and staff who work with 4-H'ers in this age group.
