Volunteer with 4-H

Steps for joining as a volunteer:

  1. Contact the club you wish to join as a volunteer or contact the Extension office for volunteer opportunities.
  2. Complete the Volunteer Selection Process, including being accepted as an Extension volunteer.

  3. Calhoun County requires a Volunteer Application as well as a Criminal Background Check Form as part of the volunteer process. These forms are available in 4-H Leader Resources. The following two forms are also required in Calhoun County:

These adult awards are recognized during the annual 4-H Leaders Banquet in December of each year. These awards include:

  • 4-H Citizenship Award
  • Friend of 4-H Award
  • 4-H Alumni Award
