4-H Youth Leadership Council Meeting

April 22, 2024 5:00PM - 6:00PM

Michigan State University Extension Gladwin County

We are happy to announce the start of the 4-H Youth Leadership Council! Come join us for the first meeting as we enjoy snacks, electing officers for this first year (if you are interested, please be prepared to speak for 30 seconds in front of your peers about why they should elect you!) Play a game and engage in a team building exercise. We will also be discussing what they would like to see in Gladwin County 4-H program for this year as well as discussing a county wide community service project.

If you know of any other youth ages 11 and up who would like to participate, please invite them to this first meeting. Directly after this meeting at 6pm is the 4-H leaders council meeting. If your youth would like to stay for the leaders meeting, they are more than welcome to do so.

    Learning Objective: Bring (mostly) new educators up to speed on current MSU Extension recommendations for harvested forage management Cost: no charge to participants except their travel to get here. Registration required for lunch count and materials.
