As an organization, we are focused on sharing evidence-based knowledge. But HOW are we sharing, presenting, or teaching? Does our delivery align with evidence-based methods on how people remember and learn?
Objectives: After this workshop, you will be able to:
- Describe the basics of how long- and short-term memory work from the perspective of neuroscience.
- List strategies to get the attention of learners.
- List teaching and studying strategies to help learners remember & move information into long-term memory.
Can’t make that date? Enroll in the D2L Teaching Learning course for the self-paced module on Brain Science & Learning.
Two hours are reserved for this training; it usually takes 100 minutes.
