Rebel Pastures is a first-generation, regenerative farm in Rockford, MI that focuses on animal and soil health. They use rotational, intensive grazing to move all their livestock across their pastures, giving the land time to heal after each passing. Justin and Jenni Bajema started farming in 2020 on 37 acres with pasture-raised chicken and eggs. Today they farm 110 acres and have chicken, eggs, beef cattle, sheep, and hogs all raised on pasture. Their farm is direct to consumer offering both local pick up and shipping to 48 states. Realizing farming is one big experiment, they’ve used several methods to raise animals and grow pastures and are looking forward to sharing them at this pasture walk.
