Spring 2024 IAT Graduation Ceremony
This graduation ceremony is a celebration of the accomplishments for IAT graduates from fall semester 2023, spring semester 2024, and summer semester 2024.
Graduation Ceremony Details
Location: Wharton Center for Performing Arts, 750 E. Shaw Ln., East Lansing, MI 48824
Parking: Free at the Wharton Center.
Date & Time: Sunday, March 24, 2024 at 1 pm. Graduates will be asked to arrive by 12:30 pm.
Tickets: Not required. Number of guests should be identified on the graduation ceremony registration form.

- The link to register to participate will also be emailed to student's MSU account.
- Students must have an official MSU cap and gown to participate.
- The graduation ceremony is expected to last about an hour.
- The deadline to register for the graduation ceremony is Friday, March 8, 2024.

Cap and Gown Order Information

- Cap and gowns can be ordered online or picked up in-person at the MSU Spartan Spirit Shop.
- The Spartan Spirit Shop is located inside the MSU Union, 49 Abbot Rd., East Lansing, MI 48824.
- Choose the bachelor's cap and gown when ordering.
- Tassel color: College of Agriculture and Natural Resources: Maize.
- Online orders should allow 5-8 business days to receive shipment. Suggested online order deadline is Monday, March 11, 2024.

Applying for Graduation

- All graduates must apply for graduation regardless of participation in the graduation ceremony.
- Students can apply for graduation by filling out the Graduation Application available at student.msu.edu and selecting the Academic Progress tile. Click the Apply for Graduation link in the left-hand navigation under the Graduation heading. Students who are expecting to graduate but cannot access the graduation application should contact their advisor.
- **Students with a FERPA restriction on their account are unable to have their name printed in the commencement program. To check FERPA restriction status, login to student.msu.edu, click "My Profile", select "FERPA Restrictions" in the left navigation, then "FERPA Activities View." To remove restrictions, simply uncheck the box.
- Applying for graduation does not automatically register students to participate in the graduation ceremony.
