- Ability to accept cash, check, credit card or wire transfer and send invoices
- Easy tracking of participants and payments
- Collection of civil rights and demographic information

Helping Tips to Know about EMS
Group Registration Feature
Group registration in ANR Events Management System is a helpful tool when registering multiple individuals from the same family or organization. Group registration allows you to collect information for a primary contact, such as a parent of multiple youth or administrative assistant, while also collecting registration information for other participants, such as multiple children or members of an organization. This tool allows you to anonymously collect demographic information for each participant before moving to the next participant’s registration.
Group registration must be requested before it can be integrated in your event registration. If you are interested in utilizing or learning more about group registration, please contact MSU Extension ANR Event Services.
Duplicate Events
Have you created an event in the past and have an upcoming event that is the same? Instead of creating a new event, you can duplicate your event in EMS! Simply duplicate the event and update the information to reflect any new dates, times, locations, organizers, or additional information as necessary.
Activation Review
Once you have created an event, MSU Extension ANR Event Services will review your event prior to activating it - the public will not be able to access your event until the event is marked active by MSU Extension ANR Event Services.Every event in EMS goes through a review process before the link becomes live. Allow at least one week for your event to move through the activation process. This allows your registration page to be tested and reviewed to make sure everything is working and ready for public viewing.

EMS Updates and Improvements
Below you will find the latest updates and improvements that have been made to the events management system.
Reports available for PEARS II data collection (3/30/22)
Civil Rights Reporting is now available for both adult and youth data collection. The reports are available in an onscreen display as well as an excel download for ease of use. Information is aggregated in a way to make data entry into PEARS easier for educators. In addition, there are two new features that allow organizers to select a specific input to run a civil rights report. For example, if you have a registration with multiple date options you can run the report isolate each date for civil rights information. Organizers are also able to do specific sorts by county(ies) or zip code(s).
A detailed document has been developed to show you the civil rights fieldsets and reports. You can access the file here.
Over the course of the next few weeks, MSU Extension ANR Event Services will be working to update some of our standard event templates and removing outdated templates. If you need something specific more immediately, please don't hesitate to reach out to ANR Event Services to discuss options.
New Fieldset Templates and Civil Rights Data Collection Information (1/17/22)
The EMS has received updates over the past month to help make it easier for event organizers to manage COVID policy compliance, adult demographics, 4-H status and age and youth demographics. These fields have been standardized to allow for both event-based and system wide reporting.
There has also been changes to the civil rights collection field for both adults and youth processes. The new collection process is labeled "PEARS II" in the system and will be the default setting for all events after January 1, 2022 that had not collected any registration data. There are slight differences between youth and adult data collected and as a result this change does mean the event organizers will need to determine by registration process if the registration process is designed to collect youth information or adult information. The reporting for this collection process will be in place no later than the end of March.
A detailed document has been developed to show you how to submit fieldsets and additional details on the specific new templates that are available for your use. You can access the file here.
Over the course of the next few weeks, MSU Extension ANR Event Services will be working to update some of our standard event templates to include the COVID and demographic templates. If you need something specific more immediately, please don't hesitate to reach out to ANR Event Services to discuss options.
