Farm to ECE: Sowing the Seeds for Healthy Futures in Michigan

Through Farm to Early Care and Education Implementation Grant (FIG) funding focused on equity, the Michigan Farm to ECE Network impacted 8515 children, 396 ECEs, and 818 ECE providers.

Michigan was awarded three years of Farm to Early Care and Education Implementation Grant (FIG) to strengthen Farm to ECE initiatives focusing on equity. This infographic shares a glimpse of what the Michigan Farm to ECE Network was able to accomplish in that time, including providing training and support to ECE providers that determined 95% improved the quality of their childcare environments after participating in farm to ECE. 

The Michigan Farm to ECE Network has impacted 8515 children, 396 ECEs, and  818 ECE providers.
