Maura Brandi Internship Fund

The Maura Brandi Internship Fund is endowed and held by the Charlevoix County Community Foundation. MSU Landscape Architecture program students are preferred candidates.

Maura Brandi was a sophomore at Michigan State University, studying to become a landscape architect. She spent her summer of 2014 gaining valuable experience in the field of landscape architecture and strengthening her desire to combine her love of water resources with her career. Tragically, she passed away in a car accident in early 2015. An internship fund was established to honor Maura’s enthusiasm for life and her chosen occupation.

The Maura Brandi Internship Fund is endowed and held by the Charlevoix County Community Foundation. MSU Landscape Architecture program students are preferred candidates. The goal is to raise $40,000 for the Maura Brandi Internship Fund, which will provide a $2,000 stipend for one (1) internship at the Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council each summer. The intern will gain a wide variety of work experience in land and water resource conservation projects.
