Michigan State University hosts online dairy nutrition roundtables in December

Dairy experts will focus on major topics affecting dairy nutritionists.

Interactive roundtable discussions between MSU Extension specialists and dairy nutrition professionals have become a popular offering each December. With the need to offer an online version of the meetings this year, MSU is making the most of the format change to help nutritionists get the most out of the 2020 roundtables.

Experts from other organizations will join Dr. Adam Lock and Dr. Barry Bradford from the Michigan State University Extension Dairy Team to focus on major topics affecting dairy nutritionists. Wide-ranging discussions are expected, and participants have the opportunity to provide topics in the registration process to focus the discussions.

The three sessions offered are:

Friday, December 4, 2020. 2:00 – 4:30 p.m.

Emphasis on milk protein strategies with Dr. Bill Weiss from The Ohio State University

Monday, December 7, 2020. 9:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Emphasis on economics of feeding with Dr. Normand St-Pierre of Perdue AgriBusiness

Thursday, December 10, 2020. 12:00 – 2:30 p.m.

While there is no cost to attend, pre-registration is requested. Anyone can register for one or more of these interactive Zoom sessions at https://events.anr.msu.edu/dairyroundtable20/.
