The School of Planning, Design and Construction has become a partner with the MSU Environmental Science & Policy Program on their doctoral Dual Major program.

This partnership allows SPDC students to dual enroll in both the PhD in Planning, Design and Construction, as well as the Environmental Science and Policy Dual Major. Additionally, these students will qualify for ESPP Doctoral Recruitment Fellowships, expanded Interdisciplinary Conference Travel Grants and many other benefits.

The ESP Dual Major provides students with knowledge about the diverse disciplines brought to bear on contemporary environmental problems. It is designed to provide an understanding of how various disciplines conceptualize environmental issues and how scientific information can be utilized in environmental decision-making and in creating environmental policy.
