Welcome to Sreejata and Jian!
ShadeLab welcomes new post-doctoral associate Dr. Sreejata Bandopadhyay and visiting scholar Professor Jian Hu.
Sreejata received her Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and she joins an ongoing Plant Resilience Institute-initiated and NSF-funded project to understand rhizosphere microbiome assembly and resuscitation during plant stress.
Jian is a lecturer from Nanjing Agricultural University and he has been awarded funding from the China Scholarship Fund to perform plant-microbiome research in ShadeLab for one year!
