Memorandums of Understanding (Strategic Partnerships)

An MOU is defined as contractual document which defines a relationship between MSU and a foreign institution.  In the MOU, resources are committed by each institution to support academic programs, students and faculty exchanges, research collaboration, technical assistance, professional assistance, professional development, and similar activities around capacity building.

The CANR Office of Research Support will facilitate and monitor the establishment of such agreements between CANR and foreign institutions.

All requesting CANR faculty/staff should complete the CANR Partner Request Form. The Office of Research Support will contact requesting CANR faculty/staff for any additional information and/or the decision to proceed with the MOU for signature by the CANR Dean, ISP Dean and MSU authorities.

For any questions about MOU processes and requirements, please contact anr.ors.intl@msu.edu.
