Research Interest

Dr. Lee's current research interests are improving the efficiency of engineering designs for the packaging fields. His Ph.D. research was based on topology optimization, which is a systemic structure design method to reduce resources while enhancing their function. This is one of the main challenges that a packaging field faces since many packaging engineers are trying to minimize resources while maximizing function. Another research interest is to develop numerical analysis methods for packaging systems that can enhance the packaging design efficiency
