Dan Penny is the Director of Packaging Engineering for Cardinal Health where he has worked since 2001. His team is responsible for package design and process development as well as continuing engineering for Cardinal Health’s medical device packaging. In total he has more than 30 years of experience in the medical device industry. Dan spent his first 16 years working for a converter of medical device packaging materials. There he led process engineering and product development teams working on blown films, laminates, pouches, and bags. He holds a BS in Packaging from Michigan State University and an MBA from Keller Graduate School.
