Onasis Tharcisse A. GUEDEGBE is currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Agricultural, Food and Resource Economics at Michigan State University, with a focus on development economics. He possesses three years of experience with the think tank Policy Center for the New South based in Morocco, where he was involved in policy research, policy development, and policy advisory services in the areas of Agriculture, Food Security, and the Environment. Tharcisse is also currently employed as a research engineer by the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Morocco. His current research is focused on shocks, medium and long-term stressors, resilience, poverty, food security, and economic transformation.
