“Get Moving, Feel Great!”
Sitting less and moving more is great for your health and your mood! Being physically active helps to reduce your risk of chronic diseases, like heart disease and diabetes, and also helps reduce stress and improve your memory. Going for a brisk walk, tending to your garden, or taking a group fitness class are all great ways to be active!
For adults, the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans recommend 150 minutes of moderate, or 75 minutes of vigorous, physical activity each week. Every little bit counts toward your goals.
Benefits:
- Get better sleep
- Think and feel better
- Enjoy an active lifestyle
- Boost your mood and reduce stress
- Strengthen your heart, muscles and bones
