Life Skills On-Request Interactive Zoom Programs

These opportunities are available to teachers, parents and homeschool families interested in connecting with MSU Extension staff through live, interactive Zoom connections. To request these virtual programs, please reach out to the staff person listed. 

Youth Voice/Youth Adult Partnership Training

This customizable and interactive virtual training provides insight on the value of youth voices in decision-making, encouragement for youth to speak up, and skills for adults to elevate youth voices.

Most appropriate for grades 6-8 and 9-12.

Communication Skills and Conflict Resolution

This customizable, interactive virtual training provides youth with practical skills in communication and conflict resolution.

goLead: Leadership Education and Development Virtual Camp

This 20-30 hour virtual experience builds youth leadership skills through community service. Youth will learn about service in America, plan a virtual youth-driven service project from vision to completion, and learn and build leadership skills along the way.

Most appropriate for grades 6-8 and 9-12.

Home Alone - Safely

This four-part virtual series has eight educational segments to help youth feel more secure - and safe - in staying home alone. Sessions include: First-aid, All Things 9-1-1, Nutrition, Budgeting Time, Home Safety, Managing Feelings, At-home Science and Caring for Younger Siblings.

Most appropriate for Grades 3-5 and 6-8.
