This book, edited by Erik Runkle and Roberto Lopez, will contain 18 chapters on the subject of light in horticulture.  It is updated and substantially expanded from the "Lighting Up Profits" book published in 2004.  It will present the underlying biology of how light influences plant growth and development of specialty crops, especially those grown in greenhouses and controlled-environment growth rooms.  Over 20 leading plant scientists discuss technology options for shade and lighting, including the latest developments in greenhouse and sole-source lighting.
