Plant Diseases

Segment: 8. Plant Culture & Propagation, Standard: Develop a production plan that applies the fundamentals of plant management. (Pathway II.C.1)

Description

Diseases are bound to occur in your greenhouse, but it is important to be able to properly ID and know how to treat them. Common problems are bacterial spot/blight, aphids, and powdery mildew. Dead plants and infested soil can be the main source of diseases in a greenhouse, so it is important to keep things clean and organized. Have a disease management plan sent up to know how to treat the diseases that may show up.
