I graduated from MSU in 2022 with two degrees, one in forestry and the other in wildlife biology. I joined the CSUS department fall of 2022 working with Dr. Perry on a project looking at recreator displacement in four southern California national forests. This project incorporates multiple ideas on what could be causing forest visitors to be displaced from their preferred experiences in the forests and aims to find ways to reduce this in the future.

Prior to starting this work, I had worked for Dr. Huff in her human dimensions of forestry lab throughout my time as an undergrad. During that time, I was able to learn how to work with landowners, associations, and hunting clubs, along with a myriad of other skills that set me up for my master’s work.

Outside of school I enjoy reading, going for walks, traveling, and reconnecting with friends and family.
