Liz Ivkovich is an artist working in the watershed of art, science, sustainability, and fundraising. Her doctoral research looks at the relationship between embodiment and interdisciplinarity, focusing on the role of retreat in art-science-sustainability collaborations. Liz also writes within the field of eco-dramaturgy, an emerging area of theatre and performance studies that centers ecological reciprocity and social justice.

Liz is the Senior Director of Advancement, Cultural Arts for Michigan State University. In this role, she leads the fundraising team for the MSU Broad Art Museum, the W. J. Beal Botanical Garden and Campus Arboretum, the MSU Museum, and the Arts MSU campuswide strategy. She is also a member of the Leadership Team for the Center for Interdisciplinary Research, Learning, and Engagement (CIRCLE).

Liz has an MFA in Modern Dance with an Interdisciplinary Graduate Certificate in Sustainability from the University of Utah, and a B.S. in Sustainable Business & International Studies from Aquinas College.
