Countywide Project & Education Kits

Countywide Project Workshops & Exploration Kits! are a great way for 4-H Members to learn projects that might not be offered in their selected 4-H Club. Countywide Projects and 4-H Exploration Kits! are funded by the endowment gift provided by the Berrien County 4-H Foundation, Inc. 

Pre-registration is required. Register online following the below steps: 

To Register: 

  1. Log in or create a 4-H Online Account at: https://v2.4honline.com/#/user/sign-in
  2. Select the youth you would like to register
  3. Select "Events" on the left hand side
  4. Confirmation email will be sent that includes all information and kit delivery information.

It's that easy! You do have to have an active profile to register!

April 

  • 4-H Countywide Project:          Beginner Cake Decorating Series

Join us in this 4-H Countywide project series focusing on cake decorating. This workshop series will be a three part series.

  • Who: Open to youth ages 5 - 19 years (Youth ages 5 - 7 years must be accompanied by an adult)
  • Cost: Free

  • Limited to 8 youth participants.
  • 4-H Countywide Project:          Bunny Boot Camp

Join us at the Bunny Boot Camp to learn about your rabbit project. Topics include: nutrition, care, handling, showmanship and more!

May 

  • 4-H Countywide Project:         Leap into Spring with Florals and Gnomes 

Join us in the 4-H Leap into Spring with Florals and Gnomes Workshop. Participants will learn about floral arranging, flower types, and more! Participants will be able to make a bouquet to take home and one small hand tied bouquet that will be donated to a local nursing home. Additionally youth will be able to create their very own gnome!

  • 4-H Countywide Project:           Arts & Crafts Workshop

Join us in the Arts and crafts as we explore a variety of projects!

  • 4-H Countywide Project:          Ride Along the Barn Quilt Trails 

    Join us in this workshop as it encompasses barn quilts! Learn about the history behind barn quilts, what the various patterns mean and create your very own barn coasters and more!

  •  4-H Countywide Project:          4-H Poultry Palooza 

Join us at the 4-H Poultry Palooza to learn about showmanship, what to look for in a market bird, care, housing, treatment of sickness and more! This session will also touch briefly on turkeys, waterfowl, and pigeons.

    Join us in the 4-H Ceramics Workshop. Participants will be able to learn about ceramic painting while painting their very own project.

    Join us in the 4-H Preservation workshop to learn about the basics of canning! Participants will create and can jams/jellies and pickles!
