Interested in sustainability, but not sure where to begin? 

Are you looking to expand your understanding of sustainable living and explore practical strategies that can be applied both at home and in your community? If so, we invite you to participate in the Choices for Sustainable Living online book club course.

This engaging, multi-topic series is presented in collaboration with Michigan State University Extension, Purdue University Extension, and the University of Florida Extension. Participants will gain valuable insights into sustainability through real-world examples, critical thinking activities, and group discussions that explore the systems shaping our world.

Course Schedule:
Sessions are held weekly on Thursdays from 6–7:30 p.m. ET: 

  • September 11: A Call to Sustainability

  • September 18: Systems Thinking and Sustainability

  • September 25: Food

  • October 2: Water

  • October 9: Community

  • October 16: Transportation

  • October 23: Consumption and Economy

  • October 30: Visions of Sustainability

This course offers a thoughtful examination of the complex and interconnected systems that influence our daily lives and global future.
