Climate Smart Forestry Practices: Assessing approaches for climate change adaptation and mitigation across North America

The FCCP Team, led by Daphna Gadoth, conducted an analysis of the SFI’s Climate Smart Forestry regional workshop reports summarizing findings from the seven regional CSF workshops to identify trends and relevant variation across regions.

Key activities included a literature review and synthesis, development of a decision support framework, engagement with regional experts, and an analysis of findings from regional workshops facilitated by SFI in 2022 and 2023. The collective outputs of these activities provide a comprehensive foundation for advancing CSF practices and developing a decision support tool that meets the diverse needs of forest managers and stakeholders.
