Donate to Gratiot County 4-H

We accept monetary donations through a variety of sources. 

Gratiot County 4-H Endowment

Gratiot County 4-H has a general county 4-H endowment fund established through the Michigan 4-H Foundation. Donations made to this fund are used to support county-wide 4-H programs and events.

Individual group donations

Donations can also be made to specific groups within Gratiot County 4-H. Please contact the group first to ensure that your donation aligns with their needs. If you wish to donate towards a specific purpose (for example, 4-H Exploration Days scholarships), please include that in writing.

Many Gratiot County 4-H clubs will accept donations. You can find our club list here

Donations can also be made to county-level groups. These councils and committees guide certain project areas, oversee scholarships and recognition activities, and promote 4-H throughout Gratiot county. Donations are accepted by cash or check. Checks should be made payable to the group that you are donating to and can be mailed to: Gratiot County MSU Extension, 219 N. State Street, Alma, MI 48801

  • Gratiot County 4-H Council (for any general county 4-H program)
  • Gratiot County 4-H Horse Developmental Committee (for horse and pony project areas)

 

Volunteer with Gratiot County 4-H

Looking to donate your time? Whether you want a short-term experience or a long-term role, 4-H has an opportunity for you!

Here are just a few examples of ways you can volunteer:

  • lead a club
  • teach a clinic or workshop
  • chaperone an event or camp program
  • serve on a council or committee

Because safety is our No. 1 priority, we are committed to a thorough Volunteer Selection Process that includes an application, background checks, references, an interview, and online training modules. There is no charge to you as a volunteer for any of these pieces.
