The Feeder Calf Project is a great learning experiencing. You will learn principles of animal science as you care for and keep records on your animal. This project emphasizes goal setting. It takes planning to determine your goals and outcomes. This project can be a two-year learning experience. You will focus on animal selection, feeding, rate of gain, health care, marketing, and showmanship.
