Pachama is looking for a contractor with intermediate experience in data extraction. They
will be responsible for collecting various data points from carbon project
documentations, performing data QA, and inputting data points into a cloud-based
software.
Attention to details and fluency in English is required (advanced to fluent Spanish reading
skills are nice to have but not required). Efficiency and accuracy are highly valuable skills
for this role. Forestry, ecology or carbon market background is preferred. Training will be
provided to this role with detailed guidance on data extraction, so previous experience
performing similar tasks is not required.
The initial contract will start in Dec (ASAP). The contract term will last for 1-2 months with
full time (40 hour per week) capacity, or 200+ hr equivalent of part time capacity.
Contract extension is possible and subject to performance evaluation and project scope
increase in 2024.
