Job Description

The survey student assistant is responsible for assisting department surveyors in conducting complex boundary retracement surveys for trespass and timber sales, primarily for the Forest Resources Division. This position will also assist with maintaining precise and legible notes and sketches.

The Division is currently recruiting to fill (5) positions in the following locations: Gaylord, Newberry, Gwinn, Cadillac and Baraga.

 Current enrollment in high school, vocational or technical school, or post-secondary educational institution.   

Experience 

 No specific type or amount is required.
