Emilio Moran, Rudy Professor of Anthropology and director of the Anthropological Center for Training and Research on Global Environmental Change at Indiana University, delivered the Rachel Carson Distinguished Lecture, received an honorary degree and shared his experiences widely on campus Dec. 8 and 9.
He was accompanied by his fiancee, Maria Claudia Lopez, assistant professor in the Departmentof Rural and Regional Development at the Universidad Javeriana in Bogeta, Colombia, and affiliated faculty at Indiana University.
