Comments

Hops are entering cone stage in northwest Michigan. Growing conditions remain dry with little disease and insect pressure. Growers have been scouting for mites and Japanese beetles. Growing degree days (base 50) are ahead of normal, while precipitation remains lower than average. Above average yields are expected.
